In partnership with the City of Vaughan, the City Playhouse is committed to showcasing professional and community-based theatre, performances in dance and music from professional and amateur production companies, art exhibitions and multicultural events. Theatre Education and Outreach Programs are also part of the City Playhouse mandate -opening our doors and establishing long-term connections with the community.

McMichael Canadian Art Collection

The McMichael Canadian Art Collection, nestled in 100 acres of stunning woodland, is renowned for showcasing 20th-century Canadian art. The gallery features works by Group of Seven, First Nations, Inuit and contemporary Canadian artists as well as special exhibitions. The Gallery Shop specializes in one-of-a-kind gifts and fun family programs are offered throughout the year. The McMichael is the perfect destination to enjoy an authentic Canadian experience!
