| With the ever–growing road
network, and the increased amount of vehicular traffic, it was recognized
that additional winter operations sites were necessary in order
to meet the expectations of our residents, and our service level
requirements as regulated by the Province.
We now have 3 winter operation yards. From these yards, our forces
are sent out to salt, plow and maintain over 2,200 lane kilometers
of roads and over 800 kilometers of sidewalks throughout the City.

in Maple and Kleinburg.
